Mechanics and Foundations Division of the Illinois Section of American Society of Civil Engineers prepared a Preliminary List of Sources of Information Covering Engineering Geology and Related Subjects for the Chicago Area. In l972 the list was revised. Because more information has become available, we changed the format of the list for this revision. The addresses of all suppliers of information are now grouped together; new categories of information have been added; and fewer individual publications have been cited in lieu of lists of publications.

Addresses and telephone numbers of organizations referred to in this list of sources are listed alphabetically except for federal agencies.
