Ou March 19 I arrived in Terre Haute and was met at the Big Four Railroad station by Eugene Debs and his devoted and loving brother, Theodore Debs. In a few minutes we were in the hotel near his home, where I was to stay, and Debs told me that it would be my task to take the prison story from his heart, as he put it.
