It is certainly a very. Grating circum stance' to a conscientious pains-taking clergyman to perceive his congregation de sert him, and especially to follow after some person of no respectable qualifica tions, that will bear a comparison with his own. But the clergy too frequently have shewn themselves exasperated at the fact.
