Synopsis
This is part of a series which provides varied and structured activities, allowing parents to work with their children at home to complement their classroom learning. Book 1 for ages 7-9, is divided into six units of exercises to test basic English skills. These practical workbooks are designed to enable children to have fun as well as covering the English work set at school. There is a simple scoring system which should help parents identify areas where further help is necessary. The books also include answers in a pull-out centre section.
