It is a fascinating read and this reprint will no doubt excite a new generation of enthusiasts and attract more visitors to the mid-Wales narrow gauge line. --Model Railway Express
It is a unique railway history story of people, their camaraderie and struggles, of the time and of keeping terribly old and worn-out steam locomotives going. --Journal of the Railway & Canal Historical Society
