Francis W.K. Smith, Jr., DVM Diplomate ACVIM is board certified in both internal medicine and cardiology and is a clinical assistant professor at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. He is Vice-President and co-founder with Dr. Tilley of VetMed Consultants, Inc.

Larry Patrick Tilley, DVM, Diplomate ACVIM is President, VetMedConsultants, Inc. in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Dr. Tilley has been one of the foremost consultants and educators in veterinary cardiology for nearly 20 years. He is also well known as the author of the popular book, The 5-Minute Veterinary Consult (the Wiley-Blackwell publication that launched an entire series of 5-minute books) with Dr. Smith. Tilley is a popular presenter at veterinary conferences nationally and internationally.
