About the Author

Wayne Stewart has now written over 20 books and countless magazine articles. He was born and raised in Donora, PA, a town that has produced big league baseball players, including Stan Musial and the father-son Griffeys. Mr. Stewart has covered the baseball world since 1978 and has interviewed and profiled many Hall of Famers, including Nolan Ryan, Bob Gibson, and Warren Spahn. He has appeared, as a baseball expert, on Cleveland's Fox 8 and ESPN Classic.
