And it is those moments in the life of Christ -- when he struggled and when he felt intense emotion -- that are the focus of Ken Gire's Intense Moments with the Savior. This book offers short meditations on the human feelings Christ experienced as, for instance, he battled the temptations of Satan; as he confronted the money-changers in the temple, and as he prayed in Gethsemane the day before his own death. This book offers an intimate portrait of Jesus, who, while being fully divine was also fully human.
