A Complete Guide to Healthy Living for Women
The Women's Complete Wellness Book helps you take control of all aspects of your health and have the quality of life that feeling good provides and every woman deserves. A complete range of health issues is covered, from diet and exercise to sexuality and mental health, with an emphasis on prevention, screening and early detection of the conditions women face. "Wellness tips" and "wellness warnings" highlight each stage of a woman's life and allow you to tailor your own wellness program.
Achieving wellness, that ideal degree of good health, presents a different challenge for every woman. As physicians, we often see women who just don't feel as well as they should. I want to encourage each woman to take the responsibility to learn about her body and the factors that influence her health and to take control of her healthcare. My patients have taught me that being well in both mind and body is what health is all about. With this book, I want each of us to have the tools we need to reach our goal of wellness.
