Covering both theory and practice, this student text includes an examination of the more important management theories, a discussion of types of organizational structure, an analysis of the role of the supervisor and an explanation of the relationship between the supervisor and the law. It incorporates new developments in management qualifications, including the MC1 NVQ standards.
