She now runs her own practice and behavioural consultancy and also lectures at the Royal Veterinary College and works as a visiting behaviour counsellor at Bristol University. A founder member of the veterinary-based Companion Animal Behaviour Therapy Study Group, she was the first veterinary member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors. She contributes regularly to a number of magazines and appears on television as an animal behaviour expert.
