Elles étaient, par héritage, entre les mains de M. Favry de Chanteloup, petit - neveu du destinataire, quand, en 1754 ou 1755, une copie en fut exécutée sous la direction d'un ami intime, M. Duchesne, prévôt des bâti ments du roi. Les originaux passèrent pro bablement à M. De Selle, héritier et neveu de M. Favry de Chanteloup, et, vers 1796, 011 les perdit de vue et on les réputa perdus'.
