Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book is an exploration of the physical world and the nature of existence according to the teachings of the ancient Greek philosopher Epicurus. The author, who was an Epicurean, presents an exposition of Epicurean philosophy and uses it to explain a wide range of natural phenomena, including the formation of the universe, the origin of life, and the nature of the human soul. The author argues that the universe is composed of atoms and void, and that all things are the result of the interactions of these atoms. He also argues that the soul is mortal and that there is no life after death. The book is a valuable resource for anyone interested in ancient Greek philosophy, particularly Epicureanism. It is also a fascinating read for anyone interested in the history of science and the nature of reality.
