Excerpt from Clarence B. Fargo Catalog: Spring 1925
The handsomest Rose discovered in China in a quarter century, and termed the Golden Rose of China. The long graceful branches are literally loaded from end to end with such a gorgeous array of bright yellow blooms, that the branches bend with the load. The cut sprays make charming vase or basket decorations. It blooms very early in spring, while flowers are still scarce. Grows to a height of about six feet. Excellent for massed plant ing. As this Rose blooms on wood of the previous seasons' growth, it Should not be pruned back severely, like the Hybrid Teas. Do not fail to get acquainted with this new Rose.
