1829 (jan. -about two o'clock in the afternoon, a small cot tage, at Sunnyside, in the county of Durham, belonging to Mr. Grainger, was completely burnt. The fire it was supposed was owing to three children having been playing with the fire while in the house by themselves. The furniture was saved; but it was only owing to the greatest exertions that a large stack of hay nearly adjoining was.
