Solamente per l' italia i limiti di questa descrizione sono oltrepassati e così per le capitali degli stati Europei relativamente ai quali sono accennate più minute par ticolarità. Vi si trova, inoltre, una succinta ma sostanziale descri zione della sorgente e del corso dei fiumi un Cenno sulla dire zione dei canali, sulla posizione e direzione delle montagne.
