IT seems proper, in this kink book, that a few hints on the methods in use in up-to-date Shops for the building of parts of jigs and espe cially the exact locating of holes be given. It is our intention to present to the readers of this book some special appliances and improve ments that are employed for doing work rapidly and accurately that in many instances is done less perfectly and at greater expense by other methods.
