Orbene la nostra S. Rappresentazione raccoglie e svolge tutti questi motivi, accostandosi al racconto d'un evangelista piuttosto che a quello d'un altro, secondo il maggiore o minor colorito drammatico che l'un d'essi presentava. Sotto un tale punto di vista qualche lieve modificazione introdusse: così ad esempio, soltanto dopo la morte del Cristo e dopo la lunga discussione dei soldati l'autore fa succedere le tenebre, l'wclissi solare ed il terremoto, mentre lo spaventevole oscurarsi del cielo se condo Matteo, Marco e Luca (giovanni non ne parla) era incominciato fin da quando il Cristo era entrato in agonia, cioè all'ora sesta. Da Luca il Delogu ha ritratto il momento della morte perchè mentre Matteo e Marco 1 si esprimono molto indeterminatamente sulle ultime parole del Maestro; e Giovanni gli fa esclamare il consummatum est; Luca lo ritrae in atto di raccomandare al Padre lo spirito suo.2 Proprio come gli spettatori della S. Rappresentazione logudorese, udivan parlare il Cristo sul punto di morire.
