Chinatown has changed greatly from the days of Neil's youth to the Chinatown of today. Twenty years ago, it was possible to walk through Chinatown and know the names of almost all the people you see. Before immigration laws were liberalized in 1965, Chinatown was a small and stable community. At that time, Chinatown was but a handful of streets, Beach Street, Tyler Street.
