This work is based on Lectures given at Bellevue Hospital, and in the Medical Department of the University of the City of New York, and embodies the results of the author's experience in private practice and in the public institutions with which he has been connected. He has endeavored to write a handy-book on the pathogeny, clinical history, and treatment of some of the graver surgical diseases of the male urinary organs, which he hopes may be of service to the practitioner, by pointing out means for their early detection; for lessening the difiiculties of their management; and indicating, in cases of emergency, what to do and what to avoid.
