Despite our justified fears of its destructiveness, anger is an essential part of our social life. I.A.M. MELVYN L. FEIN is Assistant Professor of Sociology at Kennesaw State College and a Certified Clinical Sociologist. He is the author of Role Change (Praeger, 1990) and Analyzing Psychotherapy (Praeger, 1992).
