The first two chapters provide the concepts necessary to understand both the foundation of self-esteem therapy and its application in the therapeutic setting. R. A. STEFFENHAGEN retired as full Professor from the University of Vermont and the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is a former Professor of sociology and holds a Psychologist-Doctrate license in Vermont. He is also an accomplished hypnotherapist. His previous works include Hypnotic Techniques for Increasing Self-Esteem and The Social Dynamics of Self-Esteem (with Jeff D. Burns).
