Part Three focuses on adulthood. The contributors address a wide range of topics including gender issues, attitudes toward extended family members, filial obligations to the elderly, and coming to terms with the death of a parent. LEONORE LOEB ADLER is a member of the faculty in the Department of Psychology and the Director of the Institute for Cross-Cultural and Cross-Ethnic Studies at Molloy College. Dr. Adler is currently the President of the Academic Division of the New York State Psychological Association, and a Member of the Board of Directors of the Eastern Psychological Association.
