The areas of professional functioning and interest, assessment and intervention provide the framework against which specific topics are presented: topics include the effectiveness of the scientist-practitioner model; social and ethical issues involving women in therapy; and practicalissues such as malpractice, role-playing, and therapy for sexual offenders against children.
