From the Author

A business revolution is occuring - success demands change
The accelerating pace of change over the last year highlights the relevance of the book. In Europe politicians such as Prime Minister Blair in Britain are talking about the new economy and the economic revolution around us. In the USA, business leaders like Jack Welch of GE are building their firms around the structures described in the book, while politicians of all persuasions accept the core principles. Across Asia established giants are incorporating these ideas to survive and prosper while new firms and economies are building the new structures and approaches into their operations. If anything, the pace of the revolutionary change has accelerated since I finished working on the text. The strength of the book lies in combining an understanding of the changes with clear guidelines on how to benefit from the revolution.
