I feel that the Society should have some record of those who actively contributed to the success of the under taking because so many engineers have been employed upon the work, and it has been so unusual. And of such long duration, that a more state ment of those in charge of various Departments at the finish of the work would omit the names and responsibilities of some who should he recorded in the history of the undertaking.
