Excerpt from A Lagrangian Fractional Step Method for the Incompressible Navier-Stokes Equations: October 1985
Most of the recent work on Layangian methods concenn'ates on inviscid flow. In this thesis, however, we shall study a Layangian method for the viscous, incompressible navier-stokes equations, using primitive variables. We now give an introduction to this method.
