Excerpt from The Greek Reader
It was one of the objects of the Editor to prepare a work for our schools, better adapted to them, than those now in use. It has been objected with justice to the Collectanea Graeca Mi nora, that it contains too little; and that while, even in its easiest parts, it is not adapted to the purposes of a first book.
