Chair Fey called on Professor May, Secretary of the Faculty Senate, umass Amherst for a report. Professor May reported on the challenges facing the Amherst campus in the midst of the current budget situation.
Chair Fey then called on Daniel Georgianna, President, Faculty Federation, umass Dartmouth for a report. Mr. Georgianna reported on the challenges facing the Dartmouth campus with the implementation of the Early Retirement Program.
