The total given in the Roll as the amount of the subsidy is �89 83. 1d.; whether this was a tenth or fifteenth, or what other figure, is not known. It is impossible, therefore, to get at the amount of the wealth of Worcester, as we do not know what fraction the 88 represents of the whole sum.
