Excerpt from Standardized Reasoning Tests in Arithmetic and How to Utilize Them
The occasion for publishing this booklet is the exhaustion of the edition of the book, Arithmetical Abilities,1 in which the reasoning test herein contained first appeared. Then, too, it has been found that the brief record of the test as given in the original book does not give adequate help for those who may wish to utilize the test as a means of measuring the reasoning ability of children. It is hoped, then, that the publication of this booklet will furnish additional help to those who may wish to use this test both in supervision and in teaching.
