The Assembly. While ready to maintain the existing rela tions between the church and the University, are nevertheless of opinion that the question of the character of that relation should be determined by the Trustees of the University as the body tilti mately responsible for its welfare and financial support. They therefore authorize the Trustees, after consulting with the benc factors and graduates, to take such action regarding the relations between the church and the University as they judge to be best in its interests.
