Aseem Prakash is Professor of Political Science at the University of Washington, Seattle, and coauthor (with Matthew Potoski) of The Voluntary Environmentalists: Green Clubs, ISO 14001, and Voluntary Environmental Regulations.

Elizabeth R. DeSombre is Camilla Chandler Frost Professor of Environmental Studies and Director of the Environmental Studies Program at Wellesley College. She is the author of Flagging Standards: Globalization and Environmental, Safety, andLabor Regulations at Sea (MIT Press, 2006) and other books.

Daniel J. Fiorino is Director of the Center for Environmental Policy in the School of Public Affairs at American University.
