By Forest Survey's cubic-foot standards, residues include all unused net volume between a 1-foot stump and a 4-inch minimum top diameter inside bark By board foot standards, net residue volume consists of unused material in sawtimber trees from a 1 - foot stump to either the variable or the fixed top diameters. Mer chantable logs missed in skidding are included in saw timber residues.
