Act 131, Acts of Arkansas, 1959, amends the Arkansas Irrigation, Drainage and Watershed Improvement District Act of 1949 by providing, among other things, for the use of preliminary surveys made and reports prepared with the assistance of the Soil Conservation Service in the establishment of watershed improvement districts, for the power of eminent domain to be exercised by districts to conserve soil and water resources and prevent erosion, floodwater and sediment damages, and for broadening the power of districts to borrow money.
