Mark i. 5. He baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, That they should believe on him which should come after him, that is on christ.-acts xix. 4. As John required those whom he baptized to confess their sins and believe in the coming Messiah, it is evident infants could not be the subjects of his baptism.
