Alterum Macrobu mei volumen quum edebam, eadem illo anno speraham hoc alterum mo esse absoluturum: interiectum est qua driennium, quo quidem quadriennio facta sunt quae fieri posse ne gabam. His temporibus huius voluminis confectionem aliquantulum esse retardatam non iverim infitias; at minus certe quam rei dif ficultate et mora typographo iniecta. Nam ego nullum tempus intermisi nisi aliquot anni MDCCCXLIX. Menses, quibus infirma prohibebar valetudine, coque ipso anno primae plagulae prelo sunt subiectae, neque umquam frustra quae describeret me petivit typo graphus; ipse saepius, semel ne monito quidem me per semestre spa tium, cessavit.
