Le théâtre représente un atelier de sculpteur plus exactement, un réduit contigu à cet atelier. Portes et fenetres latérales à droite, un petit meuble à tiroirs. Sacs de plâtre, tas de glaise, armatures, selles, cuves, creux, moulages, dessins bien en vue, grande photographie d'une figure de plâtre (un homme tensij, enchainé au rochersur quoi il est assis).
Au fond, ouverture basse, mais large une tenture mobile sert à la masquer. Celle e'tofl'e tire'e, la vue s'étend par là dans l'atelier proprement dit, où, près de l'entrée, sur une selle, on voit la partie inférieure d'une statue inachevée et, plus loin, un petit poele à tuyau.
La porte de droite, haute et large, s'ouvre par un puit battant découpé dans un des grands.
