Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (30s/£1.50). Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, creasing/rubbing to edges, fading to spine, patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine, corners and back lower edge), pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, few small marks, a few small (largest approx. 1cm) tears, pushing/bumping to corners, little patchy browning, rubbing, patchy lifting to the laminate (clear plastic) surface and is in only fair condition. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with a hint of pushing to corners and minor pushing/rubbing/fading to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Pages are a little tanned. Odd marks/spots of foxing/small scratches to page edges, tops and bottoms. Very occasional small mark to pages.
