About the Author

GLORIA KAUFMAN, now retired, was Director of Women's Studies at Indiana University, South Bend. She has also published poetry and fiction, and edited In Stitches: A Patchwork of Feminist Humor and Satire. She is also a producer/director of several feminist videotapes.
