Z'the grumbling and unwillingnefl'e Which appeareth in very many, when they fhould {ubmit to that Reformation of the Church which is according to the minde of Iefus Chrifi like them that [aid to the Sears Sec not; and to the Prophets Prophecy no: unto as right things {peak unto mfmooth things and againe Let a: break their hands clander and cafl aim} their cards from m. 3 The fad and dcfolate' Condition of the Kingdomc of Scotland, then calling for our prayers and teares, and fayipg, Cafl me not Naomi (plea fant) ca me Marah( bitter) [hr the Almghty hath dealt hery hitter!) with me. Wee were prafl'cd out of meafure aho'he 'flrencgth; and had the [mums of death in our [elves that me jhould mt trufi in our fihm hut in God which raij'qth the dead; Who delivered as from [a great a death, and doth deli'ber, in whom we twli that he wifl jet deliver as; Our Brethren alfo help.
