Reference to Table VIII. Will show that 22 out of the 27 deaths occurred in patients under 15 years of age. The real fact is, how ever, that the vast majority of these deaths occurred in children under 7 years of age; and, consequently, they show unequivocally the extreme fatality of the disease in early childhood.
