'l. Poslquam in priori voluminc ea tractata sunt quae omnes Libros sacros generatim spectant, superest ut de unoquoque in particulari dicamns. In lntroductione generali egimus de Libro rum sacrorum canone et inspiratione, de textibus primigeniis et versionibus inde derivatis, de lectione sacra: Scripturaa ejusque interpretatione, denique de antiquitatibus hebraicis quaram notitia Librorum sacrorum interpreti valde utilis est. In lntroductz'one speciali inquirendum crit quodnam sit cujusque libri sacri argumentum, quisnam scopus, quarnam occasio, quis nam auctor, Deo inspirante, illum scripserit ct quanam lingua; praìsertim autem probandum crit unumquemquc librum genui num esse et sincerum fidemque mereri apud omnes qui sana utuntur ratione. In Introductione generali, stabilito canone ac vindicata inspiratione, divinam totius Scripturaa auctoritatem universim probavimus. Humana porro ejus auctoritas a demon strata textuum primigeniorum incorruptione et sincera conser vatione jam robur aliquod accepit; fusius autem et plenius contra incredulos et Rationalislas demonstrabitur in Introdu ctz'one speciali, in qua etiam solvere conabimur peculiares diffi cultates, quae ex hoc vel illo libro desumuntur. Quia igitur utra que Introductio, generalis videlicet et specialis, intime connexa est,qum de una dicuntur etiam alteram illustrant et corroborant.
