Excerpt from Abstracts of Current Decisions on Mines and Mining: Reported From September to December, 1916
This bulletin is the ninth of its kind to be published by the Bureau of Mines, the eight preceding being Bulletins 61, 79, 90, 101, 113, 118, 126, and 143. Similar bulletins will be published with snifi cient frequency to keep reasonably current the records of decisions of Federal and State courts of last resort on questions relating to the mineral industry.
The bureau will gladly welcome. And consider any suggestions looking to improvement in the matter contained in these bulletins or the manner in which it is presented. The purpose of the bulletins is to improve directly or indirectly mining conditions and to promote the health and safety of miners by the prompt publication of deci sions, and to this end it is desired that the bulletins reach all persons who are interested.
