Le modeste volume que j'otl're au public traite de deux points les origines historiques de l'in quisition et sa procédure. Avant de dire pourquoi je les aborde après bien d'autres historiens et des juristes de valeur, il me sera permis de faire une remarque, d'ailleurs nécessaire, sur le principe même de la répression de l'hérésie.
