Thus there are seen to be at least four fundamental principles involved in health training for citizenship: (i) the establishing of personal and social habits making for health; (2) the acquisition of a'body of accurate and wholesome facts about the science and art of healthy liv ing; (3) the cooperative study by pupils of problems in community health and also a measure of participation by them in their solution; (4) the further inculcation of ideals of service through the study of health heroes.
