Wenn ich es hiernach nun wage, noch einmal an dieses Thema heranzugehen, so ermutigt mich vor allem der Umstand, dass meine Poliklinik, die in der von meinem verstorbenen Chef Michelson überkommenen Weise für Hals und Nasenkranke einerseits, für Haut und Geschlechtskranke andererseits bestimmt ist, gerade für die hier in Rede stehenden Afl'ectionen ein verhältnismässig grosses Material liefert, wie denn dementsprechend schon von meiner Lehrzeit bei Mich elson an bis heute dieses Thema immer mein besonderes Interesse gefesselt hat. Ferner ist nach Kaposi's he kannter Schrift, also auch nach dem Jahre 1866 eine zusammen fassende Bearbeitung dieses Capitels meines Wissens nicht mehr erschienen.
