In proceeding I shall not mark a precise method or division but will give you a sketch of the train of thought. I propose to speak firstly of the nature of civil liberty, and of the influence Of Christianity, ln general terms. Then to consider one or two objections And then to enter more particularly into the operation of several Christian virtues and graces.
