Entre le jardin et la rivière, je traverse d'abord la route où passe un tramway. Il me fait peur parce que je suis renseigné: la loco motive est un ogre. Plus loin des champs. Un dimanche matin mon père m'y promène, je le vois rarement, je suis fier et heureux.
Encore un jardin. Des enfants plus grands que moi, des filles. Après ma première leçon d'écriture on nettoie mes doigts tachés d'encre avec de l'oseille.
