On reaching the house (late at night) I attempted to intro duce the catheter, which, after passing about two inches, came in contact with a calculus impacted in the urethra.
On leaving my home I had not suspected the nature of the difficulty, and was consequently not provided with the usual instruments for removing such Obstructions.
